Every Stem has a story and so do YOU!
Every stem has a story and so do YOU.
Deep within the earth, a tiny seed rests, holding the promise of something beautiful yet unseen. As it feels the warmth of the sun and the cool of the rain, it begins to grow—its roots strengthening in the soil, a tender shoot breaking through to reach for the light. With each passing day, it becomes sturdier, its leaves soaking in the sun’s nourishment, until one day, a small bud appears, a quiet promise of what’s to come. Slowly, the bud opens, unfurling into a magnificent bloom, each petal telling a story of patience, growth, and transformation.
The journey of the seed and the flower echoes the story of us all—growing, blooming, and eventually fading, but always part of a greater story, unfolding before the Lord.
The Word says, “you knit me together in my mother’s womb…I have been remarkably and wonderfully made…Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in your book and planned before a single one of them began” (Psalm 139). Maybe no one has ever said this to you before or you know it well, but you have been created remarkably and wonderfully. Not one detail unseen or out of place. Everyday of your life has been planned and marked by purpose.
I believe God created every person uniquely on purpose, for a purpose and that purpose to be loved by God, to love God, and to love people as God has loved us.
There is a story you are living - from wherever you find yourself reading this my hope is that you would be encouraged that there is purpose and beauty in your story, even in what’s still unseen. As your story unfolds I hope that you find wonder in the moments that pass you. Be reminded that every season requires patience, produces growth, and can be just as transformative as the last. I pray that your heart would unfold like a flower before Him as you come to or walk in faith in God.
Becoming a Believer:
God didn't create us as hardwired robots, instead real love is based on a choice of commitment. When we come into relationship with God we are declaring that we to believe that Jesus is the Savior of the world (meaning He died for our sin because otherwise sin would keep us from true freedom and life with God), He becomes Lord of our life (whereas we might have lived on our own accord before, now we choose to submit to and follow Jesus).
